Tap Forms 2.1 is a major upgrade to the iPhone and iPad database suite of apps. Security has been enhanced by adding 256-bit AES full database file encryption technology. AirPrint technology has been added allowing you to print records, files and photos to any nearby AirPrint compatible printer. The new calculation field type lets you add mathematical expressions to your forms. Enhanced Dropbox integration lets you perform backups and restores wirelessly. 5 new languages have also been added.

Late last month, Apple released a new iOS 4.2 update which enabled a feature called AirPrint on the iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. We showed you How to Set Up AirPrint with iOS 4.2 on iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad with an HP compatible printer or by setting it up manually (albeit not the easiest way). Now we’re going to show you how to print on iOS 3 and iOS 4 without AirPrint, using an app called PrintJinni for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

While Apple has added wireless printing via AirPrint to the the latest 4.2 iOS update, the AirPrint compatibility with devices in the marketplace is limited and you may soon find that AirPrint is another feature to hit the iPhone that is pretty worthless to the general public. However, there are a couple work arounds to get you printing.
