Hilton Garden Inn hotels are now offering a new amenity that will allow iPhone, Blackberry and other smartphone users to print their important business documents from anywhere in the world directly to printers that are located at the hotel inside their business centers. This mobile printing service is free to all hotel guests and according to Hilton Gardens Inn’s press release, these Printspots will work with any Smartphone.

Admob: Apple Users Twice as Likely To Pay for Apps Than Android Users

AdMob has recently uncovered some interesting stats about the purchasing behaviors for applications and specific devices. They surveyed iPhone, iPod Touch, Android and WebOS users and found that Android users love their free apps. Apple and Android users each download around nine apps per month, the big difference is Apple customers are twice as likely to pay for those apps. In fact, 50 percent of iPhone users and 35 percent of iPod Touch owners buy at least one app a month. When compared to Android users who only 21 percent are likely to purchase an app in any given month. WebOS users download about 6 apps per month. Of course, the Apple App Store has thousands more apps on offer compared to Palm’s storefront, which could add to the difference in behavior.
Palm’s WebOS 1.4 Update Emphasizes Video, Available Now

Palm has just announced that webOS version 1.4 is now available, and will arrive on Palm Pre and Palm Pixi handsets via an over-the-air update for both Sprint and Verizon Wireless customers. In this update users will be able to capture, edit, and share video clips, including direct uploads to YouTube and Facebook. It also features improved calendar, phone, messaging, and e-mail apps; you can now dial contact numbers from the calendar, or sort e-mail by date, sender, and subject.

Grooveshark, similar to streaming music apps like Pandora and Slacker, has just become available for the Palm Pre. The app, as shown below, leverages Grooveshark’s popular and powerful recommendation engine to find other music you might like. You can rate a song up or down by a smile or a frown, but you can also save playlists and songs for later repeat listening and sharing with other users.

Slacker Radio offers benefits like curated genres, a much larger music library and a plus account which has a monthly fee that will give you even greater control over your music.
