iPhone Overtakes Windows Mobile in U.S. Market

According to research firm, ComScore, the iPhone has overtaken Windows Mobile in U.S. smartphone market share for the first time. ComScore conducts monthly surveys of U.S. mobile subscribers over the age of 13, asking them what type of phone they use, and then derives OS market share from those numbers.

Flash 10.1 Announced For Mobile Devices Including webOS and Windows Mobile

At the Adobe MAX conference this morning being held in Los Angeles, Adobe have announced Flash 10.1 support on mobile devices including webOS and Windows Mobile. Android and Symbian platforms can see the build next year in “early 2010″. The video demonstration below shows a Palm Pre operating with 3 separate Flash apps running at once. While the phone can handle it, OS performance seems to lag slightly. But a little bit of a lag is a lot better than no flash at all…come on Apple.

Windows Marketplace Opening To Developers July 27, Public Later This Year
