Mountain View, California – PhatWare announces today the newest iPhone version of WritePad, the popular note taking and handwriting recognition software for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. PhatWare is announcing a great update for the iPad version of its WritePad note-taking and handwriting recognition app. The update includes improved document organization, search and security – letting you store documents in its Document Manager folder hierarchy, do word searches to find the right document, and secure documents with password protection while sharing them on a network. A year after its release, BerryBuzz for BlackBerry will now be known by its new name, BeBuzz. The app is an alert tool for BlackBerry users, allowing owners to assign custom LED light colors to about anything on their device. This includes emails, SMS and calls from specific contacts to missed calls, BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) and many 3rd party apps.
One Man Left Releases Tilt to Live Cooperative Mode Update

One Man Left Studios has announced the release of its first multiplayer gametype for Tilt to Live for iOS, called Viva la Coop! It’s a free addition to the game’s Expansion, Viva la Turret. This cooperative mode works over wi-fi or Bluetooth between two local devices. Wi-fi play will sync the pair’s highscore to a dedicated Coop leaderboard. Tilt to Live HD is an arcade shooter with five different modes of play and a unique combat system.

A while back, I posted a little guide with tips on how to multitask effectively on the iPad and use the various apps together effectively to accomplish tasks normally reserved for non-mobile computers (desktops or laptops). In that sense, as an iPad owner, you can get a lot of useful productivity done. By multitasking and really learning how to use the iPad to it’s full potential, you won’t need to connect it to iTunes or a computer as often as you think. Since the time I wrote the Appmodo guide, I’ve discovered many other apps and features I wanted to add and address so I am updating the former article. I also realized that I only posted it on Appmodo and I’m now adding the guide to iPadmodo as well.
