I’m sure by now all true Sonic fans know SEGA has released Sonic CD as a universal app. This app has itself been designed by a fan, Christian Whitehead, and it’s about the best port iOS has seen so far of a SEGA game. If you’ve always loved Sonic the blue hedgehog, this is the game to get.

About one year later … We’re back to Infinity Blade … II by Chair Entertainment Group. The overall game is very much in keeping with the original release, but this sequel boasts several enhancements that make the game a lot more fun, and it also feels considerably less repetitive.

The universe is vast, endless, and Galaxy on Fire 2 HD certainly conveys this well. This space opera adventure by FISHLABS is the high-resolution version of their earlier release of the same title, and optimized for the iPhone 4S and iPad 2. While the game may install and play on certain older devices, be warned that your framerate may suffer; thus the developers are only supporting it for the A5 devices.
