Micro-surveys on both sides of the Atlantic seem to agree that it is time for more kid friendly apps. Newly launched My Pal Apps is trying to take advantage of this by saying no to these extra revenue streams in favor of what kids really want in an app. With “I Read”, the new app in its range of Educational games, My Pal Apps promises to keep the kids “in the game” in more ways than one.

There are a handful of applications out there for the Apple iPhone and iPod touch that are developed specifically with children in mind. One of those apps is called iColoringBook, a child-proof coloring program that utilizes Apple’s patented multi-gesture technology to color a handful of drawings without having to worry about the details.
