AT&T Replaces Unlimited Data Plan with 2GB/Per Month Cap, Adds Tethering Option

You didn’t think it would last, did you? I did too, but unfortunately all good things must come to an end. Effective June 7th, AT&T’s unlimited data plan for iPads and iPhones will be replaced by two other plans. DataPlus ($15/mo.), the entry level plan provides 200mb of data, while DataPro ($25/mo.), the premium-level plan restricts you to a 2GB data cap. Furthermore, if you want to include tethering, that’s an additional $20/mo. option.

Today Verizon announced that Droid users will be able to add tethering to their plan for an additional $30 per month. This will be in addition to your existing data plan.
