Apple’s Shady App Approving Process Strikes Again

Apple has done it again, no, I don’t mean we have a new magical or whimsical device to share with you but rather some shady approval processes at it again. I was contacted today by Christian Mueller maker of apps such as Talk With Chippy (stay tuned for an Appmodo review) and soon to be released Glubschi – Hello World!. Soon after Christian submitted his new app for Apple review it was denied. The reason cited was “…the Application Description and ‘Keywords’ contain information that is inappropriate.” What could this inappropriate word be? In the newly submitted app contained a slogan; “Is it an Alien, a Ghost, a Sperm, an Angel? No its Glubschi!”. That’s it, the word sperm in the slogan was enough for the Apple Review Team to put the axe on this new app.
