The latest software update for the BlackBerry Storm was released over the weekend, bringing the current build to version 5.0. Customers can pick up the download through RIM’s Desktop Management Software or by visiting www.verizonwireless.com/storm and selecting “Software Download”. Updates to the software include improvements in rotation detection and touch features, SMS and MMS updates, 2G and 3G network stability updates, and a plethora of bug fixes.
