This week, I had the opportunity to preview Pinch 2 HD by Coatsink Software, an iPad sequel to Pinch, which was released mid-2010 for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Although this was not a release build and a couple of bugs still do exist, I was impressed. Pinch 2 HD is a solid puzzle game with attractive graphics and fun, challenging gameplay. Announced late last year and early this year, Super QuickHook was released into the app store a few days ago. Taking the same mechanics as it’s spiritual prequel, the game has you roping from one place to another as you try to get a good time and make the best of the environment around you.

Just about a year ago, EA Mobile released SimCity for the iPhone and iPod Touch, which helped revolutionize the Sim building titles on the new mobile phone platform. The company has announced a sequel title called SimCity Deluxe which will “improve on the user interface from the last game“.
