Ponchatoula, LA – Announcing that Wil Richardson, the developer of PlingPlong, has just released the latest update for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users. PlingPlong 2.2 is a maddeningly addictive game that’s reminiscent of bumper pool. Users have a limited number of tries to fling the Plong (like a ball) at the stationary Plings (like a bumper) to light them up. The game is over when they light up all of the Plings, or run out Flings, but there’s a catch. If they Plong a Pling twice, it deactivates; and they must use another Fling to re-light it.

Berlin, Germany – Independent developer Daniel Wetzel is pleased to announce Paper Pile 1.2.1 for iPad devices. Paper Pile creates virtual newspapers looking almost exactly as their printed prototypes. It is the user’s choice which content to read. The app uses news feed subscriptions to compose the user’s personal newspaper. Besides reading printed daily newspapers, many people make use of RSS feeds containing topics they are really interested in. Paper Pile combines both media to a new reading experience.
