Do you like to race cars? Get behind the wheel in Real Racing 2 HD by Firemint Pty Ltd, probably the most realistic racing simulation game for the iOS. Even if you’re one of those who typically has trouble handling most racing games, you should take the time to sit down with Real Racing 2, which is about the smoothest ride you could possibly find on your iPad. Slot racing games had always been a pleasure for me. They’re fun, and require some skill to successfully maneuver your car all around the track’s corners and jagged pieces. While HTR High Tech Racing can sometimes act as a fun time waster, the artwork is unpolished and most of the time the many turnoffs of the game make you regret the three dollars spent on it.

If you’re a fan of Rhythm Racer, a game on the app store that combines racing and catchy tunes, you’ll be pleased to know that the sequel was announced with both iPhone and iPad support. Based off of the screenshots and the trailer that are both below, I am almost certain that the game will be a hit, if not for other people, for me; just waiting to try it!

Cubed Rally Racer (CRR) introduces a new/old idea to the app store. Described by RC Pro-Am and Canabalt smashed together, this isometric racer will have you playing for hours and hours on end! The idea is simple: get to the finish line of the randomly generated tracks. However, the real gameplay is not too simple in terms of difficulty!

There’s just something about top down racers that really grabs your attention and makes you want to play more. Maybe it’s the variety, the stunning visuals, or the all-in-all simplicity. LilRacerz does all of this with simple and easy-to-learn controls while giving you the most optimal racing experience there is so far on the iPhone and iPod Touch market!

The first free app of the day is Tramp Stamp. You control a bouncing ball by tilting your device. The twist? You’re bouncing off a trampoline! Stamp each box by tapping the screen. Each successful stamp increases your score and power. Miss and your power goes down. Each box needs to be stamped at least once before leaving the warehouse, otherwise you’ll be penalized. Try to stay in the middle of the trampoline. Hit the edges and you’ll lose control. If you lose control or bouncing power, tap the trampoline to propel yourself back into the air (but it will cost you some power). This game is free and free today only.
