Facebook application developer, Joe Hewitt, posted on his Twitter page late last night that the next big Facebook iPhone app update (version 3.1) will feature Push Notifications. A mini update is on it’s way as well, which will address several bugs with the application.

Facebook App Gets Update for iPhone 3.0 Software, No Push Notification

The popular social networking website, Facebook, is finally releasing an update to their iPhone application which needed to be updated for some time now. The current version is loaded with bugs, crashes often, and sometimes does not update all of the current statuses which can be quite frustrating. This new update is “98% complete” says Joe at Facebook, and includes the all of the following but does not include push notifications which are expected in a 3.1 update later this summer:
