Earlier this month, Appmodo broke the news about 4 boys from Venice Beach who had set out on a mission to create a successful iPhone game from start to finish in only 72 hours. The stage was set and you were given a firsthand invitation to witness their journey by logging onto their website at Dogtown Studios. On January 25th, their game, Project 72 for iPhone and iPod Touch was released by the iTunes App Store for public consumption.

Project 72 is a new app to be released in the app store. Currently $0.99 this app is getting great reviews. Here is a story behind this app; project 72 began on a Tuesday in January on the 5th when four guys from California sat down for dinner and came up with a plan to make a game in 72 hours. We first published the story on the 6th of this month and this app is the product of that project. The goal behind this app and the point of the game is to collect fuel to help you to continue your rocket into outer space using power ups that appear randomly thought the game, the graphics look great and this app looks like a pretty fun one, worth taking a look at.
