Personal Hotspot, a feature that has been available to Verizon iPhone 4 owners since its launch, will be available to AT&T subscribers, once the iOS 4.3 update is released on Friday, March 11th. This is essentially internet tethering, allowing the owner to set up a WiFi network for up to 5 devices, using their iPhone’s mobile broadband connection. Customers will need to subscribe to AT&T’s $45/4GB DataPro Plan with tethering in order to use the Personal Hotspot feature.
