Palm recently came out with a new ad out with their newest tagline, “Life moves fast. Don’t miss a thing.” A far cry from the pale and emotionless woman we all associated the Pre with when it first came out. This is one ad that most consumers can definitely get behind. It shows the Pre screen floating in front of a woman walking down a city street. She makes working with multiple notifications, multiple apps, and mapping look easy and fun.
US Palm Catalog Continues to Grow, Now With Over 2000 Apps

Palm just confirmed the existence of the Pre Plus and Pixi Plus. No announcement has been made on pricing details just yet, but they did give us a launch date of January 25th.

Pre people have been hoping and praying that Palm would add video recording support to the Pre ever since the device launched. So when Palm’s CEO Jon Rubinstein mentioned that webOS 1.3.5 would be hitting the Pre in just a few days, people started getting antsy as surely this would be the one that brings video, right?

Apple has updated iTunes to version 9.0.2 and guess what?! The Palm Pre sync is dead again using webOS 1.2.1, despite Palm’s efforts to spoof nearly every aspect of USB identification known to mankind. As with previous episodes, iTunes does launch when you connect a Pre with Media Mode, but it doesn’t appear as a device on the sidebar.

A few days ago, Amazon was selling the Palm Pre for $99.99. That’s a savings of $50 from Sprint, Best Buy and Radio Shack. Now a company called CellularDeals has dropped the priced even lower and is offering the Palm Pre for $79.99. The price as it appears does not require any sort of mail-in rebates, making it a great deal for those setting their sights on the Palm Pre.
