Today, Disney Mobile Games released a major update and new version of two of its most popular games. These include a new world, Cherry Mountains, for Monster’s, Inc. Run; as well as Toy Story: Smash It! Lost Episode, a free version of their hit game Toy Story: Smash It!.

Run is a side-scrolling action platform adventure that has players dashing through locations from the movie as their favorite “Monsters, Inc.” characters. Players find themselves on a spine-tingling mission as some of the most popular scare team duos, including Mike and Sulley, to find and rescue Boo from danger.

Melbourne based SpaceGum Pty Ltd today releases Battlepath Monsters 1.3, their location-based fighting game for iOS devices. A cross between a dungeon fighting game & location-based social network, Battlepath Monsters uses the location of real-world businesses and overlays fictional in-game merchants like Orc Burgers, Taverns and Wizard Shops on their position. Players are able to build a castle in their own location and siege other players locally or they can teleport to another city to attack.

The title is a bit of a misnomer. Pocket RPG by Crescent Moon Games and Tasty Poison is not so much of an RPG as it is an action game with RPG elements, and obviously, an iPad does not fit into a pocket—not a regular-sized pocket at any rate. That said, this dungeon crawler makes battling monsters so fun it might just make you want to lug your iPad around more often, even if you have to carry a bag to do so. If you happened to read our review of Monster Dash back in August, you would have learned that the Appmodo team fell in love with the zombie game. Halfbrick Studios did an awesome job with their original release and have increased the game’s value with a new updates that include a new level called “Yeti Heights” featuring a Yeti monster and a rocket launcher weapon. The company also added the integration of Game Center so you can track your scores and challenge your friends.
