Bible Audio Pronunciations for iOS offers readers an innovative new way to experience the sacred text, featuring audio recordings of over 1,000 challenging words. Designed to be used at home, church, or with others, the app will play recordings of terms, names, and places that many people find difficult to pronounce. Additionally, within the app there are links to Google and Wikipedia to direct readers to more information about the Bible words, and more.

The Phillips’, Keith, Greyson and Iva released Redneck Jellyfish 1.02 into the App Store. Gus Hickey is a jellyfish. His job is to build coral reefs. Simply tap the screen to make him swim and pick up coral seeds which he uses to grow more coral. Sounds simple, until he starts losing his tentacles to barnacles, crabs, sea urchins and other sea hazards. The music for Redneck Jellyfish was provided by a family friend, Shane Hickey, aka Ukulele Guy, who composed it and played a banjo ukulele.

Gameloft has just released their latest trailer for Real Golf 2011 featuring pro-golfer Natalie Gulbis and new gameplay footage. The game will hit the App Store this Thursday on September 9th. Gameloft also included new screenshots of Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus (what’s with the Unicorn name?) which is slated for release later this Fall and looks even better than the the original we reviewed last year. Late last week Gameloft released an update for Modern Combat: Sandstorm(now free) along with a trailer for their upcoming sequel, Modern Combat 2. The trailer doesn’t include any gameplay footage as you’d might expect but does have an indy-style cinematic theme of warfare using an iPhone 4 and iPad as weapons. The game is expected to hit both devices this Fall.

Puppet War FPS developed by Twindigo is a unique idea executed brilliantly: think of it as COD (Call of Duty) meets Elmo’s World (a show on Sesame Street run by the ever so famous Elmo).
