Austin based vring.ly today announces vring.ly 1.1, their free app for iPhone and iPod touch. vring.ly is a new way to send personal video messages to your friends, without the pitfalls of traditional MMS video messages. Users may send high quality “vrings” to multiple contacts with the touch of a button. The service works over both WiFi and 3G, and vrings are delivered via multiple mediums: SMS messages, e-mail, push notifications for other vring.ly users, and even calls to landlines.

BlackBerry Storm 5.0 Software Update Available

The latest software update for the BlackBerry Storm was released over the weekend, bringing the current build to version 5.0. Our very own Chris Duke came across a new issue with iPhone MMS since it’s release earlier yesterday morning. When trying to send an MMS to a friend in the United Kingdom, the message failed to send. Clearly iPhone MMS with AT&T only works within the United States and not other carriers including O2 in Europe. Fail, AT&T…FAIL.
