In order to legally tether on an iDevice, you need to go through a cellular carrier like AT&T. The downside is that AT&T requires you to pay an additional fee of $20 per month on top of their data packages in order to use the service (the company also caps you at specific data amounts). Wow, that was fast. Jailbreakers have been on fire this week, first the iPad in a day and now the iPhone! I really don’t see a need for jailbreaking now. Apple has covered many of the features, multitasking, wallpaper, and folders. Plus, 4.0 won’t slow down your phone while jailbreak will.
