Streaming Colour Studios announced their third game awhile ago, and it was released today. The idea is a great one: you’re given six tools that have to be used correctly on a 5 x 5 grid of land to level it out completely. Dave Castlenuovo, founder of Bolt Creative, recently announced the results of their iPhone downloadable content for Pocket God, stating it is already a success, “I’m happy. It’s worked out really well for us”. “We have to keep pushing out DLC updates to keep revenue at the same point as before we went 3.0-only”. With 27 percent of their revenue coming from the first optional download pack, Bolt Creative continues to offer regular updates for free, with the downloadable content being sold for extra.

A study conducted by Frank N. Magid Associates, Inc showed that over 50 percent of mobile phone users in the United States access 39 minutes of mobile content each week, a number that is larger than the amount of time an average user spends sending text messages. Another interesting find was the number of minutes a user spends each week talking on the phone, which averaged 44 minutes.
