Surfside, Florida – iTech Developers was pleased to introduce last Thursday, Dec/23/10, Fat Kiosk HD 1.0 for iOS, their new visualization app that adds the effects of weight gain and ageing to any frontal photo. The app employs automatic face recognition to detect the eyes, mouth, and chin, and advanced image processing to simulate how that face would appear if the person gained 100 pounds and/or aged 20 years. Photos may be taken from the Gallery or camera, and shared using Facebook, Twitter, eMail, or SMS. The app includes both automatic and manual controls, and works with any iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

This acquisition thing is really getting fired up. Last week Ngmoco announced a $400 million dollar purchase by DeNA and just yesterday EA gobbled up Chillingo for an undisclosed amount. Now this morning, Intel Capital has announced their acquisition of the 45+ million user social network OpenFeint for a cool $8 million dollars, along with some other investors.
