Disney Apps for Oscar Winning Brave Film

Pixar’s Brave received an Academy Award for “Best Animated Film” last night. If you’re a fan of Princess Merida and her strong-willed, independent ways, then Disney Publishing has two apps just for you! “Brave: Storybook Deluxe” and “Brave Interactive Comic” (both rated 4 stars on iTunes!) feature the original characters, storyline, and new activities for kids.

To coincide with the season premiere of the all new Disney Junior animated series “Sofia the First” on January 11th, Disney Publishing has released the first “Sofia the First” storybook app for iOS devices: Sofia the First: Story Theater. The app follows the show’s opening storyline and features the original voice of Sofia, narrated by ABC’s Modern Family star Ariel Winter, and the other characters of the TV show, including Sara Ramirez from Grey’s Anatomy as Sofia’s mother.

Disney Publishing Worldwide announced today the release of Frankenweenie: An Electrifying Book, based on Walt Disney Studios’ highly anticipated stop-motion animated film directed by Tim Burton, “Frankenweenie,” in theaters October 5, 2012.
