Asia Treasures – Shwedagon Pagoda for iPad – Historical Sites of Burma

Park Lane Editions, Ltd. today is pleased to introduce Asia Treasures – Shwedagon Pagoda 1.0 for iPad, their Travel app that explores in text and pictures one of the most breathtaking sites in Southeast Asia, the shwedagon Pagoda. The Shwedagon Pagoda is located in the heart of Rangoon, Burma’s capital. It is also there that her father, the general Aung San, hero of Burma’s independence asked the British Empire to free Burma in 1946. And in 2007 the Shwedagon Pagoda was the rallying point of buddhist monks who demonstrated against the regime during the « safran revolution ».
