There are numerous art apps around, but not too many do a great job of simulating the experience of painting on paper. Inspire Pro – Paint, Draw & Sketch by KiwiPixel comes close. As a bonus, this app is easy to use. It is also more convenient and mess free than dabbling with real brushes and oil paints. Continue on to iPadmodo for the full review.

Independent development team, Etienne Nguyen Tan Hon and Yong Jie Hu have announced updated Calligraphy Art 1.2 for iPad devices. Since the launching of the first version 1.0, a lot of creativity tools have been integrated to the app including; more inkpen effects, more color, more decorative patterns, more calligraphic hands.
