PatataSW today released BabySteps Motor Milestones 1.0 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users. This is a new launch, which helps parents determine and track the progress of their baby or toddler’s development of gross motor skills. Everyone has heard about the controversy surrounding Apple and their on and off banning of ‘sex’ related apps in the App Store. One of our own writers, Jake, found an app today that has been approved by Apple called “Sperm Killer” where your “aim to the game” is to catch the viruses flying around inside a woman’s anatomy. The approval of the app raises the question again whether or not Apple is picking and choosing who to approve in the App Store. What are your thoughts on Apple’s actions or this app in general? Should these types of apps be banned permanently or should the App Store truly be an “open source”, open market?
