Social networking website, Twitter, have finally released an open source application for Android 2.1 users. They included support for Éclair’s Quick Contact bar, the ability to tweet from your Gallery app, homescreen timeline, as well as tweet integration with Google’s Talk app and contact lists.

Google released the Android 2.0 Operating System SDK to developers early this morning which includes a handful of new API’s, Bluetooth updates, Searchable SMS and Exchange support, new controls for the build in camera, improved multitouch keyboard, new browser with an easier UI (user interface) and support for HTML5, and much more.
