Even before the iPad hits the streets, publishers and advertisers are taking advantage of newest technology to get their products out to the consumers. A report by the Wall Street Journal mentioned that Time Magazine had already signed up at least six advertisers costing $200,000 each for one spot appearing within the first eight editions of their magazine on the iPad. If you use Facebook often you probably have seen the ad which state “Age 45 Males: Free iPad.” Well Facebook has had a enough of it, and has removed all of the ads which include that. It says that Facebook doesn’t approve ads individually, but that ones that mention factors that really have nothing to do with the subject of the ad such as age, and Explicit Content, in the case of a “free iPad” ad which are prohibited and will be deleted when they’re found.– PC World Discovered

The feud continues between AT&T and Verizon, as AT&T releases yet another ad featuring Luke Wilson. This particular one is aimed squarely at the “There’s A Map For That” ad, with AT&T touting its coverage of 97% of Americans.

It was only a matter of time before AT&T amended their advertising lawsuit against Verizon new holiday ads, including the Island of Misfit Toys spot, and demanded that they be taken off the air.

The glorious days of early 2008 where applications were praised one by one and individually grabbed attention across the entire internet are over.
