2011 IndieCade Game Finalists Announced

Thirty-six independent games have been selected as finalists for the 2011 IndieCade Festival, where they will be exhibited from Oct. 8 – 9, 2011 in downtown Culver City, Calif. Supreme Court Gives Police the Right to Check Text Messages Without a Warrant

Yes, that is correct. The Supreme Court has ruled in favor of permitting police officers to search your phone’s text message archives for any incriminating information without a search warrant. According to their ruling, phone searches fall in the same line as if the police were to search through your pockets or handbags, as they put it, “incidental” to a lawful arrest and therefore does not require any such permits under the 14th Amendment.
