Microsoft will attempt to enter the mobile applications industry with Apple, Sprint, and BlackBerry by opening up the Windows Marketplace to developers later this month on July 27. Public users will get access to the marketplace “later this year” when the new Windows Mobile 6.5 version launches as well.
