A lot of people question whether or not Pocket God is to-date, the ultimate gaming application for the Apple iPhone. Released in January of 2009, Pocket God quickly shot up through the charts to the number 1 spot in the app store where it remained for several weeks. Bolt Creative (the company behind the madness), developed a game where you play the role of god and have the option to either kill the islanders or let them survive. The company have released weekly updates since, with new “features” (basically new ways to kill the islanders) and each week there is a theme. Pocket God is currently $0.99 through the app store but will soon raise its price to $1.99. Is this game worth all the hype? Keep reading to find out.

The object of PapiJump is simple: make Papi jump higher. Papi jumps automatically so in order to climb the steps, you have to tilt the iPhone side to side which uses the iPhone’s accelerometer to control Papi.

Real Networks Inc released Tiki Towers late last year and now the game is finally grabbing attention in the App Store. I came across the game last week and have become instantly addicted, ignoring Zombieville USA all together. Tiki Towers is really a game for strategy lovers and puzzle fans where you help save the monkeys and get them to their destination by building structures, while fighting realistic physics such as bending, breaking, and collisions. You have to work yourself through 5 different islands and 45 levels that can be somewhat challenging.

The hugely popular Zombieville USA shooter game for the iPhone and iPod Touch has been updated to version 1.2. These changes are not applied to the free version of the game. For those of you who haven’t played this game, unless you are afraid of zombies, blood and a little bit of gore, well–you should. It’s super addicting, and really entertaining.

More Catcha Mouse Solves
There’s a great reason why Catcha Mouse is the #1 Free App in the Apple iTunes App Store. It’s fun, easy to learn, and super addicting! The goal is simple: trap a mouse as he jumps around in a grid-like fashion (think Q*bert). If he jumps into one of the available holes, well then it’s all over for you!
