Apple Sells 50,000 iPads in Two Hours? No Camera Connection Kit?
According to Victor Castroll, an analyst with Valcent Financial Apple sold 51,000 iPads in its first two hours of sales. Castroll had predicted before sales were open that Apple would be selling approximately 20,000 iPads per hour. The number of iPads sold is based on two sales made within 30 minutes of each other that had order numbers 10,000 numbers apart.Read More

iPhone OS 3.2 On its Way Soon?
Two updates were posted today for Flickr and Tweetie2 among many others. But there was a little something in these app updates that indicated that a 3.2 OS update is coming soon. Apple Confirms iPad Pre-Orders Begin Tomorrow, 5:30 a.m. PT/8:30 am. ET
Apple just confirmed that it will begin accepting online pre-orders for the iPad at 5:30 a.m. Pacific Time/8:30 a.m. Eastern Time tomorrow. According to Apple’s prior announcement, U.S. customers will be able to pre-order both the Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi + 3G models of the device, or reserve a Wi-Fi-only model for pick up at an Apple retail store. Apple will officially launch the Wi-Fi-only version of the iPad in the U.S. on Saturday, April 3, with Wi-Fi + 3G models expected to ship in late April.Read More

Barnes & Noble eReader for iPad Underway
Barnes & Noble have officially announced they’re making a version of B&N eReader for the iPad. This addition will give readers access to the 1 million+ books, newspapers and magazines purchasable through the B&N eBookstore, and any content purchased for their nook will be accessible. They gave no detail as to how it will differ from the iPhone version, except that it’s “designed specifically for the iPad”.Read More

Pocket God: New Update Submitted, PG Figures and a New Pygmy Toy
The boys over a Bolt Creative have just posted some cool stuff on their Pocket God Blog. According to a post from Allen Dye, they have just submitted the most recent update for the world famous PG app. The next episode is called “What’s the Story, Morning Gory?” and should be hitting our iPhones soon. Some hints about what this update will contain are; possible talking pygmy’s, a new story line has been added with the possibly to make your own story. They have also made the story mode editor free and it is no longer DLC but have added a new “Alien World” custom pack to the DLC shop.Read More

iPhone OS 4.0 Will Have Multitasking Capabilities
According to a post made today by AppleInsider the 4.0 OS update that is scheduled to come out later this year will silence critics and cater to one of the most requested demands of its iPhone users with the addition of multitasking. When the 4.0 software is released, it will finally support the running of several third party applications at the same time on the iPhone.
