Moodies Emotions AnalyticsBeyond Verbal, the world leader in Emotions Analytics, today announced the launch of their consumer-facing application, Moodies, for Google’s Android marketplace following its initial release on the iOS platform. The new version of the platform will have the capability to analyze, decode, and measure a full spectrum of human emotions from a person’s raw voice with the click of a button.

The app’s capabilities allow users to analyze 20 seconds or more of their voice resulting in real-time ongoing feedback into their emotional state that is then sharable via traditional social media platforms. Moodies’ analyzes over 400 different composite mood variants grouped into 20 individual mood groups. The platform is able to then decode incoming vocal intonations and compile a comprehensive set of readouts that the app’s algorithm determines from the user’s voice. These data points provide an emotional reading based on a person’s often veiled emotional state.

“We’re excited to finally bring our emotions analytics engine to Android users around the world,” said Yuval Mor, CEO, Beyond Verbal. “Unveiling our consumer app on what’s known to be one of the largest, and most diverse mobile markets in the world marks another stepping stone in the growth of our platform and will open up all new doors in exposing our technology to a previously untapped audience.”

Beyond Verbal’s technology was founded on 19 years of research by physicists and neuropsychologists, who studied more than 300,000 emotionally tagged voice in more than 30 languages. The company was recently chosen by Gartner as a “Cool Vendor, 2014” for its work in human-machine interface. The emotional detection engines within the Beyond Verbal platform act as a one-of-a-kind tool to understanding people’s emotions based not on what they say, but how they say it.

    Hats
off to the developer who came up with something that’s as innovative as Moodies
app! If all the features work as promised, I really believe that this app will
do well out there! Now that it’s on Android and iOS, it covers a majority of
the market share and this can only be good! I need to try this out right now!
