Woodland Park, New Jersey – Enter9, a mobile apps studio focused on making exciting and fun apps for smartphones and tablets, released Match Racer today for iOS. Match Racer is a fun blend of the endless runner game mechanics and 2D physics engine. The game features an infinite racetrack with randomly generated destructible obstacles, collectable coins, boosts, and various power-ups.

Piloting a racer built with matchsticks, the player flies around and through obstacles to score points and complete objectives. The goal is simply trying to survive as long as possible. The matchstick obstacles could be rammed with force shield, or lit with a burst of flame to clear the way. Players might also choose to completely redesign and upgrade their own unique racers, and show them off in a quick race with a stranger or a good friend.

Score is affected by traveling speed, which is in turn affected by the presence of speed boosters and speed bumps in game. This adds variety and uncertainty, and encourages different styles of play.
