Popular Savings Goals App Comes To iPad
Bristol, United Kingdom – A new personal finance app arrives on the iPad this week with the release of the iPad version of the Savings Goals App. The App is the latest to come from the creators of Spending Log which reached the top 5 of all apps in the UK last September and has been a feature of the UK Finance Chart for over 2 years.
Track Progress When Saving:
The App generates a Savings Schedule based on either a target date or a regularly saved amount and tracks savings progress. Progress toward a Goal is shown graphically with a container of coins becoming more full as the target is reached.
Transfer Data Between iPhone and iPad:
Users can record their savings payments whilst out and about by using the iPhone Savings Goals App on their iPhone. Savings data can then be sent up to the cloud from where it can be retrieved by the new iPad App.
Specifically for iPad:
Unlike apps that run on both iPhone and iPad with a layout that isn’t quite right for either, Savings Goals for iPad is exactly that, specifically created with the iPad in mind. This means that unlike the other poorer finance apps the layout on the iPad is not the same as on the iPhone, meaning users needn’t laboriously page through multiple screens as though they were just using a stretched out iPhone App ; The layout is concise, using the iPad as it was meant to be used.
The Journalists Recommendation:
Savings Goals has been featured in the UK Telegraph ‘Must-Have’ apps list 2 years in a row and also the UK Independent newspaper.
