ProtectStar Unveils New Encryption App for Mobile Communications

Miami, Florida – ProtectStar Inc., a world-leading developer of digital security solutions, has released iCrypter, a new mobile app that can encrypt incoming and outgoing messages and data, making them viewable to only the intended recipient.

iCrypter uses a 256 AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) algorithm to encode user data. This is the same standard of encryption used to secure sensitive military and government communications throughout the world. There is no backdoor or master decryption key, and message data is encrypted directly onto users’ mobile devices, without submission to any third-party host.

“Everyday mobile users have no expectation of privacy for any of their text or data communications, which is where iCrypter comes in,” said Chris Bohn, CEO of ProtectStar. “If someone wants to intercept you data, they can, and in some cases your cellular provider will facilitate it. iCrypter provides users with the highest level of security for a wide range of mobile communications. Our powerful app ensures that even if third parties intercept your text communications, they won’t be able to view the data that’s being sent.”

iCrypter uses a symmetrical cryptology algorithm that allows recipients to decode information as they receive it on their devices. This means that the data transmitted by users’ phones is completely inaccessible to anyone other than the intended recipient. iCrypter is able to encode communications via text message, email, WhatsApp, Facebook, iMessage or Twitter. Users can also store encrypted notes on their mobile devices.
While many encryption services charge users for each encrypted message they send, iCrypter allows users to send unlimited messages with no additional charge per message. Users simply pay standard messaging fees to their cellular service provider.

Additionally, ProtectStar makes its algorithm available to users for analysis and validation purposes, providing complete transparency into the method of encryption for all user data.

“iCrypter is a simple yet extraordinarily powerful way to keep your data safe from unauthorized access,” said Bohn. “Even individuals who feel that they don’t have anything to hide should still take measures to protect their data from prying eyes. We’re proud to help people regain a sense of security and privacy in an increasingly invasive digital world.”
