BookBuddy 5.0 for iOS – Now with Import, Export, and Print Capabilities
Herzeliya, Israel – Kimico Ltd., a leading provider of high quality applications for iPhone and iPod touch, today proudly announces the release and immediate availability of BookBuddy 5.0, a major update for the leading book management application for iPhone and iPod touch. BookBuddy 5.0’s new features allow users to exchange book collections with other applications using industry standard formats. Users can also print all or portions of their libraries wirelessly to any AirPrint-enabled printer.
BookBuddy 5.0 now allows users to import book libraries from other leading applications in the field, such as Google Books, GoodReads, LibraryThing, Shelfari, and Anobii. A powerful import engine built into the core of BookBuddy 5.0 will be able to accommodate future user requests for additional applications.
BookBuddy lets users export or print their entire library or only part of it using advanced filtering options to best suit the user’s requirements. The export feature allows users to export library data into third-party applications, or to export the library into HTML format for sharing with other people in a readable format.
“Based on requests that we received, we at Kimico realized that importing and exporting users’ libraries in industry standard formats was a crucial requirement. We are thrilled to announce that we have been able to integrate this facility into BookBuddy 5.0,” said Mr. Yoash Adato, President and Founder of Kimico, Ltd. “Our customers can now instantly import and export book data to and from other popular book management applications, manipulate their library on spreadsheet editors such as Excel, and share their book collections with friends, colleagues, and family via a beautifully formatted document which can be sent via email, or printed to an AirPrint-enabled printer”.
BookBuddy is designed specifically for the iPhone and iPod touch to give users full control of their book collection directly on their iPhone device. No additional desktop application or online service is required.

BookBuddy 5.0 is now available at the special introductory price of $2.99 USD (40% off the normal price of $4.99), and it is available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Books category.
