After being away from serious gaming, I am back to check out another enemy destroyer kind of game, Smashing Egg Tido for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. There are a lot in this kind including the game fame Angry Birds, but it is just my curiosity to explore what Smashing Egg does here.

Review

Smashing Egg Tido is developed by GlowNight that ensures a fun game at least for your next few days. I have to admit that the graphics is average on the gameplay screen, but it is quite enough to enjoy the game. You can choose select either a grass or ice field as the gaming are initially. At the same time, there is an option to set the pace of the enemy attack as slow, medium or fast.

Unfortunately, I didn’t find any way to get back to the home screen without finishing a particular wave. The gameplay is interesting as you need to help Tido survive various enemies who were trying to make Tido an omelette. The interesting part is that Tido can accomplish a lot of power-ups to survive the enemy attacks that includes a mama chicken who helps Tido to kill the enemies, teleporter tube, protection shield, grenade smash, bird attack and many more!

It is Game Center features so that you can play with multiple people online. From the settings tab you can easily change the controls either as ‘touch’ or ‘joystick’ if you are a routine player who needs help from some buttons. The two gaming fields are very well designed to ensure the maximum entertainment for players.

Enemies attack you as waves where you get more tough buddies and sometime special attacks as the waves progress. Apart from the gameplay, the background score of the game is good as well.

Recommendation

Smashing Egg Tido may not be a high packed action game, but if you love something that combines fun with action keeping the zombies away, this game is a sure pick.

Smashing Egg Tido is a universal app available in the App Store for $0.99
