Freeridecoding Releases DraftCode, an Offline iPad PHP Development Tool
Wellington, New Zealand – Freeridecoding announces DraftCode 1.0, the first version of its new PHP development tool for iPad. DraftCode lets you write, run and debug PHP right on the iPad, without requiring access to a server or even internet connection. DraftCode comes with built in code execution based on standard PHP 5.4.10.
DraftCode features an easy to use flat file-store as your development workspace. DraftCode lets you easily transfer html, php or css files from your workspace to other iPad applications (like for instance DropBox). DraftCode also lets you access the camera roll or photo library to import image resources.
Create and work on your PHP code in the code editor and execute it right from within DraftCode. DraftCode will show you the output either as rendered HTML, as it would appear in Safari, or as HTML source code for debugging purposes. DraftCode supports includes and links to different PHP files during execution and the use of POST and GET forms that access PHP pages in your workspace.
DraftCode features a minimalistic non-interfering interface including an extended keyboard to make the coding more efficient.
Use DraftCode and take PHP development into the creative and casual habit field of an iPad. PHP is a widely used open-source server-side scripting language designed to create dynamic Web pages.
