Grinchmas7You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch! Well, not necessarily in Oceanhouse Media’s latest creation, Grinchmas for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It is a casual game suited for the whole family and depending on your mood; you can choose to be a mean or merry Mr. Grinch.

Review
Grinchmas is a game with two variants; you can plays as a Mean Grinch or a Merry Grinch. If you choose to be mean, your job is to throw snowballs at those noisy Who houses during the night. If you choose to be merry, instead of throwing snowballs at the houses, you have to throw colored presents at the matching colored Who houses. The challenge is to throw either the most snowballs or presents and hit their designated targets before the clock runs out.

The game plays similar to Paper Toss. You throw the snowballs or presents by swiping the screen. The direction and speed of your swipe will dictate how or short your throws will be and surely test your accuracy skills. Throwing the snowballs will be fairly easy, but having to match the presents with the right colored houses will slow you down a bit, as there is more thinking involved.

Grinchmas is built using eye-pleasing, 3D graphics and coupled with a whimsical background music and sound effects, simply puts one in the perfect Christmassy mood.

Recommendation
Grinchmas for the iPhone and iPod Touch is highly recommended for kids of all ages. It is a casual game that will most likely put you in the Christmas spirit. It is available now at the iTunes App Store for $1.99.
