Worldwide Hit The Simpsons: Tapped Out Launches on Google Play With HD Graphics

The Simpsons- Tapped OutThe Simpsons: Tapped Out launched today on Google Play, expanding the reach of EA Mobile’s freemium title to a massive new group of players, following its enormous success on the App Store where it has secured the #1 spot in 20 countries around the world including the U.S. This free mobile App brings to life TV’s longest-running comedy and has reached new levels of popularity on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, climbing as high as 3.2 million daily active users. The Simpsons: Tapped Out is available now on over 1,600 Android devices and adds to EA’s impressive list of AAA franchise games already available on Google Play.

Fans new to the App will begin their adventure with Homer accidentally causing a meltdown that wipes out Springfield. It’s up to players to rebuild the iconic town and help him find his family and friends. The Simpsons: Tapped Out launches on Google Play with more than 30 fan-favorite Simpson’s characters like Cletus, Millhouse and Ned Flanders. Players complete 300+ comic quests to earn “mmm… donuts” which can be used to expand Springfield with over 45 buildings such as the Kwik-E-Mart, Springfield Elementary School and Duff Brewery. Fans will also enjoy exclusive, animated scenes that are sure to please enthusiasts of the renowned TV show.
