GAMEVIL Launches Location Based RPG to App Store with Fighter City
Leading mobile games publisher and developer GAMEVIL announced the release of their RPG game, Fighter City, to the App Store today. Fighter City is developed by Neowingames and published by GAMEVIL through their Partner Fund. By integrating location-based features with colorful interactive gameplay, Fighter City takes its place in GAMEVIL’s ambitious list of titles for 2012.
In Fighter City, players enter a massive multiplayer combat world that connects a community together through location. Users create their dojos in their city and are able to virtually fight other players as well as raid their dojos. Through the creation of a game world in real places, users join a neighborhood of Fighter City players all over the world.
Players first create their avatars through an eclectic collection of customizable options ranging from skin tone to hairstyle. By fighting other players, one can also further customize their avatars with additional accessories such as weaponry and defensive clothing. Purchasing specialty items such as a Chihuahua provides a light comical air to the game while maintaining a level of in-game realness.
Boasting hundreds of real martial arts techniques, players can strategically level up their characters through skills focusing on different fighting schools to rise to the ranks in Fighter City.
“A seamless marriage of real world and virtual world takes place through Fighter City,” stated Kyu Lee, VP and Head of GAMEVIL USA, Inc. “Neowingames has brought a huge level of depth to a beautiful RPG that is fun and competitive.”
Fighter City is now FREE on App Store at for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.
