NewBlue Launches Vibop to Make “Hollywood-style” Videos on iPhone and iPod Touch
Video technology company NewBlue has launched Vibop 2.0, a smartphone video creation app that is the fastest, easiest and most feature-rich video app available. Vibop 2.0 boasts a variety of nine themes (and counting) to help enhance homemade videos include Super 8, Comic Book and Silent Film, which allow users to put a little Hollywood flair into their videos in seconds.
Themes contains an intro, outro, effects, and a soundtrack, so it’s like having a complete movie production package in the palm of your hand. Users can also create their own theme with Vibop’s “Customize It” option.
“Anyone can capture and share video – but the magic is what happens in between. Vibop 2.0 allows people to showcase their creativity and make a statement, democratizing mobile video with fun and easy-to-use tools,” said NewBlue Co-Founder, Todor Fay. “NewBlue has built the app on the strengths of a multi-faceted, artistic, and creative team that has always been passionate about giving individuals tools to express themselves creatively.”
Features of Vibop 2.0 include:
- Hollywood-like themes: With just a few touches, users can add any number of different themes to their movies, complete with an intro, title, font, video effect, soundtrack, and outro. Available themes include Silent Film, Super 8, Comic Book, Love Note, Tech Talk, Beatz, Postcard, and a theme to create videos with the look of your Twitter profile.
- Create your own: Users can shoot with Vibop or use video from their camera roll. Vibop’s “Customize It” option allows users to mix and match effects and create their own theme.
- Twitter Vibop Theme: Vibop is the only app that can automatically customize videos using the same look and feel as the user’s Twitter page, including the Twitter handle, picture, and background. Vibop creates an animated Twitter intro so followers will know every video you tweet is uniquely yours.
- Easy saving and sharing: Users can save their videos to the NewBlue Video Cloud, or their camera roll. Sharing via email, YouTube, Facebook, or Twitter can be done quickly right from the app.
“At NewBlue, we’ve always taken the Da Vinci approach to our products, merging art with technology to make creative expression easier,” said Co-Founder Melissa Jordan Grey. “The Vibop app is yet another extension of this design philosophy.”
Vibop 2.0 is a free app and is available now at the App Store. Upgrades will be available as in-app purchases.
