ALSEDI Group today announces the release of abcNotes ver. 5.2, a memo app that allows the user to take notes and put them around the iPhone or iPad screen. Unique to the app is its ability to create photo-realistic memos and notes that look and feel like real paper sticky notes.

abcNotes is perfect for creating memos, notes and to-do lists. In developing the program, the authors did their best to recreate the feeling of real paper notes on the iOS device. Virtual notes can be placed on one of 15 virtual desktops, each of which can have its own background. Up to 60 professional background designs are available. To switch between the desktops, the user clicks the button or uses the finger to flip through the pages. Once notes are on a desktop, it’s possible to freely move them around the screen, rotate and resize them by pinch action.

Creating a new note in abcNotes is remarkably easy. Just click the “Plus” button, enter text and save the note. The program allows the user to customize the look of a note: choose its color, select font, size and color of text, align text and mark a note with more than 2,000 badge designs, which can help to organize notes by priority. The program offers 45 beautiful skins for notes and skins for to-do lists with checkboxes.

There are some other features that make the program shine. For example, the user can email a single note, all notes on a desktop or all notes, save a desktop with notes as image and set as wallpaper, so it’s possible to view notes on the device all the time. Also the app enables iCloud synchronization of notes between devices in the background.

The program targets a broad range of users. For example, the family can use the app to create a shopping list before going to the store. Those who study a foreign language can efficiently learn new words. Also business people can use the app to take down notes, create memos about deadlines and meetings.

abcNotes ver. 5.2 is compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad with iOS 3.0 and higher. The application is available for $2.99 at the App Store.
