Vote Me is an app integrated with Facebook that has you step into the political spotlight. It is currently free on the App Store, but requires you to connect your Facebook account to start playing.

This app is based on a fantasy politics game where you can run your own political campaign or register new social candidates. It allows you to promote ideas and concepts in a political fashion as if you were in the White House. You can even create your own party and invites friends to be part of it. There are many fun options to choose from and it really makes you feel like you are a part of something.

Some other options include being able to write your own political program and story. You can also create and share campaign photos just like a real politician. There are even virtual media directors in this game that can help you along. Although VoteMe is free to play, you can purchase additional promotion items and services as in-app purchases.

The goal of this game is to win the title of “First AMerica’s Social President” (FASP), and the winner will be announced Nov. 6, 2012. The app is very social in nature and allows you to see other candidates from the menu. This way you can see who your competitors are and see their party affiliations. The use of various items, like sending thank you buttons to part members, is also very intuitive. This app really can teach you about the political process in a virtual setting.
