SHAPE Services released a new IM+ today for iOS, BlackBerry, Android and Windows Phone, that has its own cross-platform messenger “Beep”. With Beep, IM+ users are able to chat with contacts from their phone’s Address Book as well as with friends from different IM networks in a single unified interface.

Beep is a free alternative to SMS and MMS. Right, it may sound similar to BBM and WhatsApp, but cross-platform and all-in-one! Beep will be available in IM+ free and paid versions for iOS, BlackBerry, Android and Windows Phone released simultaneously.

Beep isn’t the only surprise for IM+ users. Thanks to cooperation with Rovio, the latest IM+ for iOS update has a beautiful interactive Angry Birds theme. The theme includes moving background, flying birds and pigs showing up on the screen time to time.

Also, IM+ in-app location based chat Neighbors added ‘shouts’ feature for location based group chats.
