Samsung Apps has begun an exclusive new Global Apps competition which will give users the chance to win prizes including a Samsung Notebook Series 9 and a Galaxy Tab 10.1.

Running until the end of September, the ‘Most Downloads’ Global Apps Contest has been launched to reward loyal Samsung Apps customers. Users who download the most apps to their Samsung Wave and Samsung Galaxy Smartphones during the time period will be in with a chance of winning a host of exciting prizes, including:

• Samsung Notebook Series 9
• Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi
• Samsung Apps vouchers

The contest, which takes place in 95 countries around the world including the UK, runs from 25th August to 30th September, with winners announced globally on 10th October.

SEOUL, Korea – 30 August, 2011 – Samsung Apps is to run a global competition to reward people who download the most mobile apps during the month of August and September.

Samsung Apps customers who download the most apps during that time will receive a chance to win exciting prizes including the Samsung Notebook Series 9, Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi, and Samsung Apps vouchers.

The competition is open to customers with Samsung Wave and Samsung Galaxy smartphones.

The most downloaded promotion will take place in 95 countries around the world including the UK, France, Netherlands, Australia, and China. The contest will run from 25^th August to 30^th September, with the winners to be announced on 10^th October.

How customers can enter:

• For Wave device users: Sign in to Samsung Apps as normal and then download apps as normal
• For Galaxy device users: Visit the event page in Samsung Apps website and click the ‘Apply’ button to join the contest, then start downloading apps from Samsung Apps on the device
