New iOS Productivity App to Manage Files and Attachments
Brisbane, Australia – Due to platform constraints users have been limited in their ability to store and manage email attachments. With the release of Email Caddy, users can now manage files and attachments on their iOS devices without the need to access a Desktop computer.
When receiving attachments by email users can now choose to save the attachments in Email Caddy. The app provides a desktop-like file system that users are familiar with and can easily organise files in sub folders in a structured manner. Email Caddy includes built-in support for creating and extracting ZIP archives that are often used to bundle files together when sending them by email.
Users can also open stored files in other installed applications, allowing them to store frequently used documents or templates in the local storage area. From the local storage area they can modify the contents in one of their installed applications before attaching it to an outgoing email.
The app is particularly useful for business people who travel extensively and require access to documents, contracts or proposals while away from a desktop computer. With iTunes File Sharing users can also pre-load all their documents onto their iPad or iPhone for quick and easy access.
