HP Unveils the Veer, Pre3 and TouchPad at Think Beyond Event

At today’s Think Beyond event in San Francisco, HP unveiled the HP Veer, Pre 3 and TouchPad. The Veer is a credit card sized webOS phone, the Pre3 – the premier phone for professionals and last, but not least, the TouchPad, a 9.7 inch tablet running HP webOS.

HP Veer specs:

  • 54.5 mm x 84.0 mm x 15.1 mm and only 103 grams
  • 800-MHz processor
  • vivid 2.57-inch glass display
  • full slide-out keyboard
  • 8 gigabytes (GB) of internal user storage
  • high-performance browser with full access to the web, including support for Adobe Flash Player 10.1 beta
  • Wi-Fi
  • integrated GPS
  • robust messaging support
  • multimedia options, including music, photos, video recording and playback
  • 5-megapixel camera.
  • available early Spring

Pre3 specs:

  • A thin slider with the largest QWERTY keyboard yet
  • 3.6-inch display at WVGA resolution — 2.5 times that of the Pre.
  • 5MP camera, HD video with stabilization, front-facing camera for video calling
  • Wifi b/g/n
  • 8GB or 16GB of storage
  • Same RAM as the Pre 2
  • Qualcomm processor at 1.4GHz
  • No exact date or price yet, but it’ll be available “this summer.”

TouchPad specs:

  • HP webOS
  • 9.7-inch display at 1024×768
  • Qualcomm 8060 dual-core Snapdragon processor at 1.2GHz
  • GPS (on th e3G models)
  • front-facing 1.3MP camera for video calling
