Untethered jailbreak released for iOS 4.2.1
For those who were looking into jailbreaking your iDevices running the latest iOS — look no more. Chronic Dev Team released greenpois0n that will let you “perform an untehered jailbreak.”
You will be able to reboot your device without having to jailbreak again after using greenp0ison, according to Engadget. However, it only works on the Macs (connected to an iDevice) so far and you won’t be able to swap sim cards if you are on 4.2.1.
According to CNET, 4.2.1 has actually had a jailbreak for a while but not an untethered one with rebooting like Greenpois0n allows.
